Found the awesome art of Jeremy Vinar on Instagram.
I love how clean his work is.
I think I need to try and work cleaner.
I’ve been getting quicker, but feel my pencil work can get quite messy. Then when I do ink, I find I tend to OVER-ink. It’s a horrible habit - sometimes my pencils are too loose and I rush to get to the detail which can ruin it.
I think I will try a study of simpler art in a similar style to Jeremy to start getting used to :
1 - holding myself back when inking
2 - Doing quick studies I can colour
3 - help me with pentel brush practice
4 - trying to remember less is sometimes more
Will try some tonight when I get back from the cinema.
Wanted to jot some thoughts down to remind me.
